C&N Higgins Construction Ltd recently completed a landmark project at 2-3 Mallow Street, Co. Limerick, involving the sensitive renovation of a protected Georgian structure. The development transformed the historic building into 10 high-quality apartments, complemented by a new rear extension housing an additional 2 apartments. Works included a basement extension, the addition of a new upper floor, a complete mechanical and electrical refit, and full interior finishes and furnishing. Conservation was at the heart of the project, with careful restoration works including lime render and pointing to the original brickwork and stonework, along with brick repairs and replacements to seamlessly match the existing façade.
